At PIVOT, we've never believed that changing your relationship with alcohol has to mean giving it up completely.
For many people, it's about making more intentional choices. Sometimes that means choosing an alcohol-free beer after work. Sometimes it's deciding to skip a drink before an early morning run. Sometimes it's simply having an alternative available when you don't feel like drinking.
Those moments might seem small, but they can make a real difference over time.
That's why we're incredibly proud to be partnering with Alcohol Change UK on our Change Works Better Together campaign.
Change doesn't have to happen alone
Many of our drinking habits are social.
We meet friends at the pub. We celebrate birthdays with a drink. We open a beer while watching the football or enjoying a barbecue.
Because those moments are often shared, making a different choice can sometimes feel difficult.
We wanted to create a campaign that recognised that reality.
Rather than asking people to make dramatic changes overnight, we wanted to encourage simple conversations and shared experiences.
A simple idea
The campaign revolves around a dedicated PIVOT campaign pack.
The concept is straightforward.
Buy 12 cans, keep eight for yourself and share four with someone else.
Maybe that's a friend who's curious about alcohol-free beer. Maybe it's a family member trying to cut back. Maybe it's someone who's never found an alcohol-free option they've genuinely enjoyed.
The important part isn't the beer.
It's the conversation.
Supporting Alcohol Change UK's work
For every campaign pack sold, £1 is donated to Alcohol Change UK to support their year-round work helping people make positive changes to their relationship with alcohol.
We're incredibly grateful to be working alongside an organisation that champions practical, inclusive and evidence-based approaches to behaviour change.
Their work reaches hundreds of thousands of people every year and continues well beyond Dry January.
Why this matters to PIVOT
When I started PIVOT, I wasn't trying to convince people to stop drinking.
I wanted to create an alcohol-free beer that people would genuinely choose because it tasted great.
Over time, I realised that the product itself could become part of something bigger.
If having a better alcohol-free option helps someone feel comfortable making a different choice, that's a positive outcome.
If sharing four cans with a friend starts a conversation about drinking habits, that's a positive outcome too.
That's what this campaign is about.
Not perfection.
Not pressure.
Just making positive change feel a little more achievable.
